Visit Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills on Thursday, December 10 between 1-5pm to try on your new favorite jeans and meet special guest Cookie Johnson. These jeans are so chic and they fit everyone I saw trying them on like they were made just for them. It's really amazing. You must stop by Neiman Marcus in Fashion Island or Beverly Hills and visit Comtemporary Sportswear to try them on!

Here in Southern California we are uniquely privileged to be so near one of the world's most incredible Theatre and Performance Halls. Sergestrom Hall is not only known for the amazing symphonies and orchestras that perform there, but also for the incredible architecture that makes it a gorgeous site in its own rite. Whether you are vacationing in California or a local, you are sure to have a wonderful night experiencing the OC Performing Arts Center. Here are a few favorites that are coming up in the next couple months!

Pacific Chorale Festival, 8/23/2009:
Members of the Southern California choral community join forces with Pacific Chorale, Artistic Director John Alexander, and eminent guest organist Frederick Swann in a free public performance of great choral masterworks by composers including Bach, Beethoven, Fauré and Mendelssohn.

Fiddler on the Roof, 8/11/2009 - 8/23/2009:
Topol, the original Tevye, performs the role that made him legendary in Fiddler on the Roof, the Tony Award winning musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world with its universal appeal. Never has any other musical so magically woven music, dance, poignancy and laughter into such an electrifying and unforgettable experience. Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof has been lauded by critics again and again, and won the hearts of people all around the world. Filled with a rousing, heartwarming score, which includes “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “If I Were A Rich Man” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” Fiddler on the Roof is a timeless classic. Relive a glorious tradition with Fiddler on the Roof.

Legally Blonde the Musical, 9/8/2009 - 9/20/2009:
The hilarious MGM film is Broadway's new smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde the Musical is coming to you. Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take "no" for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. After turning Broadway and MTV hot pink, this “Feel-Good Song and Dance Juggernaut” (New York Magazine) is “The Best New Musical Around!”

Beverly Hills Weekend Getaway.

Beverly Hills is a must-see whether you are a California native or international guest. However, usually your BH stay is simply brousing the stores and looking for stars. With first-hand knowledge of the area, Le Reve has created a truly unique Beverly Hills couples getaway, that will allow you to enjoy the best that Beverly Hills has to offer. For the weekend you will stay at the newly-opened Montage Beverly Hills resort. This incredible hotel will allow you to relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend together. For the day out, you will be chauffeured in style as you enjoy shopping at Two Rodeo Drive followed by dinner at the acclaimed Mastro's Steakhouse.

If you have never been to Two Rodeo Drive, you are missing out. This is one of the prime shopping disticts in California, with beautiful architecture, top brands, and numerous opportunities to catch some of your favorite stars out shopping.

"The stretch of shops and boutiques on Rodeo Drive is only three blocks long. It begins at Wilshire Boulevard on the south, and runs north to Santa Monica Boulevard, where the commercial section of the street gives way to an affluent residential neighborhood. But those three short blocks constitute the most famous shopping district in America.

The most celebrated clothing designers in the world have boutiques here: Armani, Gucci, Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Valentino... The jewelry stores boast names like Cartier and Tiffany. Other nearby stores include I. Magnin, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Yves Saint Laurent, & Pierre Deux.

In fact, Rodeo Drive is home to the single most expensive store in the world: Bijan (at 420 Rodeo Drive). You must make an appointment in advance just to shop at Bijan (which was named after its Iranian owner). On a typical visit, Bijan's average customer spends in the neighborhood of $100,000 on men's fashions, which range from a $50 pair of socks to $15,000 suits.

Located at the northeast corner of Wilshire & Rodeo, the "Two Rodeo" center creates the illusion of two small, parallel streets, cleverly designed so that they both appear to be at ground level. Built at a cost of over $200 million, Two Rodeo attempts to re-create a romantic version of an old European avenue. The short, curving street is paved with Old World cobblestones, and features two & three story facades, with a unique blend of classic architectural styles. There are romantic archways, bubbling fountains, an Italianate piazza, and charming balconies."- Gary-Wayne, 2009.

Whether you are a local or an out-of-town guest, a getaway to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive is the perfect way to spend a summer weekend.

A Tour of Ancient Rome - Great Summer Offer

If you are looking for a way to keep your kids entertained, while giving them a history lesson, this is the perfect opportunity. Adults and kids a like will love this incredible offer to take a journey into ancient Rome. If you attend the Los Angeles Museum of Art, and tur the Pompeii and Roman villa exhibit, you will gain free admission to the Getty Villa as well. Here is a little more information about these two incredible SoCal sites.

"The Getty Villa features Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities arranged by themes including Gods and Goddesses, Dionysos and the Theater, and Stories of the Trojan War, as well as Roman-inspired architecture and gardens."

"The LACMA Pompeii and the Roman Villa exhibit focuses on the breadth and richness of cultural and artistic life in this region. The exhibition, organized by the National Gallery, Washington, D.C., includes works of art from the imperial villa at Oplontis and from aristocratic villas such as the Villa San Marco at Stabiae and the Villa dei Papiri at Herculaneum, as well as works from the opulent houses of the urban elite in Pompeii, whose very name conjures up ancient Rome and other towns along the bay of Naples.

The objects proposed for this exhibition are a carefully selected group of approximately one hundred-twenty works of sculpture, painting, mosaic, and luxury arts, some of them long-familiar works, others generally unknown to the public. Recent discoveries from around the Bay of Naples that have never before been exhibited in the United States will complement more familiar finds from earlier excavations. Ferrari NASCAR TV Show

We thought that this was one of the most unique and just plain cool options out there, either for companies who want to put an inventive spin on their marketing or for people who want to have the VIP insider info on the NASCAR series this year.

Coast 2 Costa Racing (C2C) competes in the Grand American Rolex Series (NASCAR Holdings). C2C is the only race team in the series competing with a Ferrari(F‐430GT), which is easily the most recognizable sports car brand. C2C Racing will begin taping a TV series in the 2009 season. Based on the dramatic events and personalities in exotic sports car racing, the Ferrari team will be the flagship of the show, but will also feature 2 other teams, depicting the element of danger, the stress and the relationships unique to auto racing.

The show through NASCAR Media Group, who will be the Ferrari production company, will be aired on Speed TV. The plan is to film 6 episodes this year starting July 4th in Daytona and air them this Fall. The 2010 season will be 14 episodes. It will basically follow the entire racing season plus a special episode. The show will also have international distribution in over 120 countries.

There are definitely some great opportunities for you and the brands you represent. The permanent exposure of the brands’ logo on cars and in the pit or garage will be something unique and reinforcing that with a brand’s marketing outreach as a story line will have major impact.

For people wishing to obtain VIP access to each of the 6 races this season and hang out with the crew inside the pit, email us by July 10 at info@lereveoc.com.

For companies wishing to market their brand through this opportunity please email us at info@lereveoc.com as soon as possible. Here are some of the benefits you will receive.

Escape to Catalina

Whether you are a Southern California native or traveling to the California Riviera for the first time, Catalina Island is a must see! Amid beautiful tropical climate, gorgeous beaches, and spectacular views, Catalina offers something for everyone from hiking and snorkeling to site-seeing and fine dining. Begin your Catalina Experience with a helicopter flight across the 22 miles of Pacific Ocean west of Los Angeles. Overlook the beautiful California Gold Coast, and take in an amazing aerial view of the spectacular cliffs, beaches, and scenery that Catalina affords. On this small island, there is an enormous diversity of plant life, with almost 400 native species that you can only find on the island.

The island is also renowned for its Mediterranean climate, turquoise waters, and wide range of marine life. The entire family will enjoy the adventures and ecological treasures that you can only find on Catalina. The whole family will love exploring the boutique shops and dining at some of the local restaurants, famous for their seafood. Take a guided Jeep Eco tour across the island to learn more about the unique native flora or allow us to customize a day of adventure.

The island is most famous for its amazing marine activities. Parasailing, kayaking, or jet skiing are just a few of the water sports that allow you to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Catalina. Experience the stunning marine life by paddle boarding into secluded coves and reefs teeming with sea and bird life. A favorite for the child visitor is the Glass Bottom Boat Tour which leads into the clear water of Lover's Cove Marine Sanctuary. You will get the chance to see bright orange Garibaldi, huge schools of bait fish, leopard sharks, barracudas, lobsters and more.

After exploring the unique flora, marine life, and culture of Catalina, relax in luxury at the Inn at Mt. Ada. This hotel was originally the private residence of William Wrigley Jr. who owned Catalina in its earlier days, and chose the setting for his new home because it received the first sunlight in the morning and the last rays at sunset. Now this Victorian mansion offers traditional yet elegant and friendly accommodations with incredible ocean views.

Take in the ocean euphoria on a private yacht back to the California coast and don't be surprised by visits from dolphins playing in the wake and greeting you to their waters. A slide show of your Catalina Experience tied in with music to match the moments will be playing on board, leaving you with memories to last a lifetime. A Day in San Juan

One of the best kept secrets in Southern California is the San Juan Mission. Built and founded in 1776, the mission is described as "the Jewel of the California Missions." Upon entering the mission, you will feel as though you have gone back in time. You can experience the new "Voices of the Mission" audio tour which provides detailed and interesting information throughout the mission. As you walk through the mission area you will love the serenity of the beautiful gardens and the rustic chapel. You will also be amazed by the Great Stone Church, which gives you an amazing picture of what life back in the 18th century would have been like. The entire family will love the experience.

From there, you can walk old town San Juan and enjoy the local culture of the area. From the quaint boutiques, to the excellent restaurants, it is a wonderful way to spend the day. A day in San Juan wouldn't be complete without a tour of the Los Rios Historic District with a visit of the new retablo in the Mission Basilica. The kids will also love Zoomars petting zoo where they can feed the emu's, hold the bunnies, and ride a pony.

Throughout the summer, another fun evening activity is "Music under the Stars," when a crowd gathers inside the mission to enjoy a wonderful band and excellent food.
Step back in time and enjoy an amazing San Juan Experience!

"Experiences Make Us Happier than Possesions"

Often times we get caught up in the possessions and the things that fill our lives. When birthdays and holidays roll around we are clamouring to find the item that our loved one would like the most, or are hoping to receive that perfect gift we have been looking for. While these possessions are wonderful for a while, over time they loose their lustre, and we are left where we began.

In a recent article put out by CNN, it seems that it is the Experiences that make us happier and add meaning to our lives rather than our possessions. Reflecting upon this article, I wanted to stop and ask the question, what is the return on life that we gain from experiences and vacations?

Have you ever taken a moment to reflect upon a particularly special family vacation or holiday memory? These moments seem to fly past us as we go about our busy lives. At Le Rêve, we believe that these moments are part of what bring joy to our lives and provide a priceless "return on life." Rather than simply planning a vacation, Le Rêve seeks to craft a personalized experience that brings that "return" to your life. Your vacation will not simply be a time to relax, but an experience that will create a family legacy everyone will remember for years to come.

Segway Coastal Tours - Fun for the whole family

If you are a Southern California resident, you have more than likely seen people motoring past you on stand-up mobiles along the beach. However, many people don't know what these actually are. So, we thought we would go explore them for ourselves so that we could let everyone else know about these interesting and fun site-seeing tours.

The Segway PT is billed as "unique high-tech fun" and that is certainly what it is. The Segway is a motorized people mover which allows you to quickly and conveniently enjoy site-seeing and ocean views. It is safe and can be used by all ages from 10-70. You can tour the whole Balboa Peninsula or the Newport Pier without ever having to catch your breath. It is such a wonderful tour for multigenerational families who have their kids and grandparents along.
One of the Le Reve team recently enjoyed a day out with her daughter on a Segway Tour (picture above), and returned with rave reviews. You can also turn the Segway tour into a weekend Southern California experience for the whole family. Combined with a gourmet beach picnic lunch and a night stay at one of the local hotels, you have a wonderful weekend excursion for your whole family.

Come Sail Away!

After traveling to various countries, we have come to really love and appreciate our beautiful Orange County coasts. We have some of the best surfing, sailing, and fishing in the entire world, right at our doorstep. With this in mind, we wanted to create a unique package that would allow people to experience our beautiful coastline, whether it be a family out for an afternoon, a couple's retreat, or a business luncheon.

Travel in style to Dana Point Harbor and board a delux 36-passenger private sailing vessel with a captain. A champagne toast will be held upon arrival as you set sail. As you settle in to the luxury accomodations you will toast and dine with the beautiful coastline in view and the sun setting in the background. If you have a family on board, the kids can enjoy a sailing lesson with the captain and come away wearing their own captain's hat. Or, the vessel can take your family out for a dolphin-watching safari.

For couples, surprise your loved one with a bouquet of roses and a candle-lit dinner aboard.

Come and rediscover the breath-taking views of our Orange County coasts, and find out why it has been called the California Riviera!

Surf City, USA

I am originally from Colorado, so when I first came to California, the one thing I wanted to learn how to do was Surf! And what better place to learn how to do that, but in Huntington Beach, or Surf City, USA.

But there is so much more to Huntington Beach then just surfing. This dynamic coastal city, with its sunny Mediterranean climate and idyllic setting, is home to more than 200,000 residents. Huntington Beach boasts more than eight miles of scenic, accessible beachfront, the largest stretch of uninterrupted beachfront on the West Coast. It also has a wonderfully unique community with 100 years of incredible history, known all over the globe as a friendly community welcoming visitors from international countries, specialing in the Middle Eastern vacation traveler.

Our parks and recreation features one of the largest recreational piers in the world, public parks, riding stables and equestrian trails, a marina, and a wildlife preserve, and an eight-mile biking, inline skating, jogging, and walking trail along the ocean. The crown jewel of the recreation system is the wide expanse of beautiful and spacious beaches, where large crowds gather to watch professional sporting events as the U.S. Open of Surfing, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball and the Surf City USA Marathon. The Huntington Beach Art Center and the Huntington Beach Playhouse also provide a wide variety of fine arts, and the excellent library system and numerous museums provide a strong cultural foundation. Also, above you will see a copy of this year's Huntington Beach float for the Rose Parade.

My Personal Favorites: There are two activities in the Huntington Beach harbor that have become some of my favorite activities for myself and my family. First off, I love paddle boarding!! This sport originated in Hawaii and has now been brought to our very own shores. You get to take a long board out on the harbor and paddle yourself, while standing on the board. It is an excellent workout, and a blast at the same time. Another favorite of mine is the kite connection. For an afternoon, you and your family make their own kites. Then you venture out to the beach to fly them, and watch a professional kite performance.

You have to check out all that this incredible desination offers!

In the Fast Lane

My family is coming home from the Car capital of the world, Dubai, where they saw a gold plated Ferrari among other exotic cars everywhere. Now that they have a new found fascination with cars, I’m looking forward to taking them to Cars and Coffee in Irvine to show them what it is all about.

Cars and Coffee is an event held at 5:30-6AM every Saturday morning in Irvine. It was originated in Crystal Cove off Pacific Coast Highway years back when a few wealthy car enthusiasts began meeting in a parking lot during the early hours of the morning to talk about and show one another their mutual enthusiasm/love for cars. The word spread about these exotic cars gathering in this location at the same time each week and more people began to bring their own cars. Over time this has become an "insiders" car show. There is no advertisement for it and it doesn't cost anything to show your car. You just have to KNOW about it to attend or even find it.

The event has grown nationally over the years and spread to other areas of the country such as Jacksonville FL, Las Vegas, Charlotte NC, Omaha NB, Honolulu HI, and others. It has very recently become nationally recognized with gatherings being held in Belgium and Netherlands.
You can check out more about Cars and Coffee at http://online.carsandcoffee.info/.

This is where some of my own enthusiasm and recognition in the car industry has flourished. I was fortunate enough to have my car photographed a couple of times and shown on the website along side of other noteworthy exotics!

Basically almost all of Orange County's wealthy automotive owners attend this event religiously, on any giving Saturday you can be sure to find BILLIONS of dollars worth of exotic/high end cars at this place that you would never see anywhere else unless you find these millionaires and sneak on their property and into their garages haha. That's the caliber of some of these cars, plenty of them never even see the public roads due to their exclusivity.
